Today January 17,2020 at 2:35 am(IST), ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) launched their first satellite of 2020 from French Guiana, by the European Arian-5 rocket.GSAT-30 take place the communication satellite INSAT-4A that complete their 15 years of service from 2005. GSAT-30 is 3,357kg heavy satellite that provide telecommunication service overall India and across the Asia and Australia.
GSAT-30 provide services for next 15 yeas.It will become ISRO's 24th satellite that launched by the Arian Rocket of ArianSpace which is a commercial arm of European Space Agency (ESA). ESA is also a long term partner of satellite launching programs of India.
ISRO planed more then 20 satellite launching in this year 2020,in which most waited Aditya L1 (ISRO's first mission to study the Sun), Chandrayaan 3 (3rd mission to study moon) and Gaganyaan (ISRO's 1st mission to carry Astronauts in Space).

Design
GSAT-30 is designed for providing high communication service with 12 normal C-Band and 12 normal Ku-Band transponders. Satellite configured on the ISRO's enhanced I-3K bus structure to provide communication service from Geostationary orbit.
GSAT-30 served as the replacement of the INSAT-4A satellite and provide services with enhanced coverage. The communication payload of satelite is specially designed for optimizing and minimizing the number of transponder on Spacecraft Bus.
